Believe me this was true last night,
Tho' it's false to-day,
It was some kind of fear brought to my own sight.
I'll still say though it was a dream, yet still I was in fright
A fair dream to my bed flew,
Such a crowd of white spirit folks that stirred,
Jested and fluttered on me
Me alone of all that band,
Calm and silent, spoke no words.
Was chocked with fear like the knocking of death at my door,
Why will I have to come through all this, I sat on the floor,

There are days you’ll feel like giving up
